It is vital to consider factors beyond cost when selecting your celebrant. When you consider your total wedding budget, the amount you will spend on a celebrant is relatively small. In fact, someone once said to me that a celebrant costs about the same as a nice wedding cake! The celebrant you select will look after the most important part of the day – your marriage to each other! Contact a couple of celebrants – chat on the phone and/or meet them in person. Be sure you are comfortable with them and are ready to entrust one of the most important moments in your life to them.

When booking your celebrant, please be aware that popular dates are often booked up more than a year in advance, sometimes 18 months before the wedding. Don't leave booking your celebrant (or any other wedding professional) to the last minute!
